The Living Sunrise Archive

Every morning, I watch our sun rise from the East Coast of Australia.

I arrive before first light, stay through the full transition, and return the next day - not to capture something perfect, but to witness what is actually there.

This archive is a growing record of those mornings.

What This Is?

The Living Sunrise Archive is a chronological collection of raw sunrise photographs, recorded day by day as part of a long-term practice of presence, rhythm, and continuity.

Each entry reflects a single morning as it unfolded.

The archive grows quietly, one sunrise at a time.

Access

The archive is free to explore.

You don’t need an account.

You don’t need to sign up.

You don’t need to decide anything to be here.

If you’re drawn to return, the record will be waiting.

Supporting The Ritual

If this work resonates with you, you’re welcome to support it.

Support is optional and never expected.

It helps sustain the daily return - the travel, equipment, and time required to keep showing up, especially on mornings when it would be easier not to.

There are no tiers, no perks, and no obligations.

Just quiet support, offered if it feels right.

A Note On Continuity

The sun will rise regardless.

I’ll keep recording these mornings while I’m able, as faithfully and consistently as I can - not as content, but as a way of staying oriented to time, place, and presence.

This archive exists as long as the practice does.
